2006Recently it has been quite tough to me. With musical, netball, council, teachers day, tests. homework...etc. i am freaking tired but yesteday's sermon touched my heart. It was exactly a sermon but it was more of a ministry. God spoke to me. And i feel its just right for me to share this on my blog because i want everyone to know how real God is.If you know me really well, you would know im someone that cannot really take stress or rather i put stress on myself. I just feel more comfortable when there's stress. But sometimes to the point that i cannot take it and will just break down but this was what pastor khong said to us yesterday. he invited 3 categories of people to come down. these were the following:1) Those that have burden and its time to surrender everything to God.We do not get to heaven unless we have the faith and its in the heart,we cannot make ourselves important. it is when we will say " God, i dont want to ask you for this anymore (e.g i dont want to ask you to provide a way to have more money) but when we say we give up Lord and follow you and love you even though you dont give me that and all the earthly possessions doesnt matter anymore. We must put on our new nature, and not desire for the earthly possessions because we cannot bring them up to heaven.2)Living in sinThere is this addiction that is in you e.g smoking, gaming.It is okay to play computer games but not when you are their slave where you cannot live without computer games then that becomes a problem. When computer games is our master, God is no longer in us and we cannot serve two masters at a time.3) Old christians where have lost the servant's heartYou serve because you want to be somebody and its not because of God anymore. We must repent and not harden our hearts. and when we worship, do we really mean every word that we sing? or are we singing for the sake of singing?A broken heart is not filled with guilt because we only feel guilty when we dont repent but if we are broken, we repented but we feel broken inside. we cannot match up to what God has done for us and how mush he LOVES us.I fall in the first and third category i think. it was when someone prayed for me when i knelt down. I felt that encounter with God. He delivered a word to me through the person who prayed for me, she said" Sister, i sense that the Lord is trying to say you are puting a cage around you and you are jailing up yourself but the Lord wants you to fre yourself and he is outside the jail waiting for you. Be strong and courageous and free yourself in JESUS NAME!" Yes, its true that i have been putting a cage around myself and am i serving because i want to be somebody? How much do i really love God, i feel very upset because im not living a life that is testifying to God. am i able to live daily clinging onto God, do i wake up early in the morning and say " JESUS, YOU ARE THE LORD OF MY LIFE?" do i? but why he is there for me always? why does he continue to pour out love for me. When i knelt down, i began to think about all my friendships.I know there are people out there that falls under these three categories and ITS TIME FOR YOU TO REFLECT ON YOUR LIFE. i challenge you to live a life for God and surrender every single thing upon him. thats the problem with Fairsians and im not trying to say everyone is like that but every single moment, are we living like Jesus? are we putting on Jesus? ITS TIME FOR US TO WAKE UP, CHRISTIANS. God is teling me that many of the people fall under the second category. its never too late to turn back and return to God but are you willing? EVERYTHING LIES IN THE HEART. ITS OUR HEART! Give up everything, he is waiting for you, DONT HURT HIM AGAIN PLEASE. can you imagine millions of people piercing is heart, can you dont be so cruel and return to Him, HE IS WAITING FOR YOU. PLEASE DONT GIVE UP.my friend told me this : FAITH stands for
