TIME FLIES. august passed...

yesterday was the last day of study skills. well, eveyrday from 8am to 9pm.
it was like torture.

i felt the first two days were quite meaningless because it somehow or rather didnt motivate me to study. but i think the imagination of the parents past was quite interesting. they asked us to imagine we were in a room where it was dark and so on.. and our parents were taken away from our life after on. I felt very guilty because i havent been treating my parents that well and i did not appreciate them. but after that, we were supposed to write letter to ourselves and our parents. i intend to give them on a special occasion. hmmm. this week was like everything was related to honouring my parents. sermon and study skills.

however, i felt very sorry. beacause ramesh was very disappointed with us and its our fault. i think our batch are too complacent. just because we did quite well in sec 2, we think we are the smartest and ramesh told us we are no where RI and RGS AND WAKE UP. i think that was like a wake up call but perhaps no one would bother from the way they behave. well, sec 3 fairsians, i think we should stop being complacent and think we are the best in the school but we should buck up. what if sec 4 we fail o lvl? can you take the blow? why not just start now!

closing of study skills was quite touching where you see so many different side of the guys on our school. they have their gentle side too. like shawn ching, joel goh,caleb chng and wong and esp DEREK LAM. hmmm. derek is like those heck care his mum one then when study skills was about to end, derek came up and say thank you mum, i appreciate everything you do.although it was just a one sentence, i think he was veyr sincere. and joel + caleb wong said " wow! derek willl do his type of things arh?" haha. but i think it took him quite a lot of courage to say that in front of his parent (: then we had joel who was a joker. haha. hot pink shirt yea? then shawn ching was very funny throughout. and i think ramesh was quite proud of him doing that for his mum and dad at the end. under peer pressure, everyone was like put of ego and appreciated their parents (: but it was quite a waste that my mum couldnt make it. but i appreciated her at home! (: oh ya, and tuck yan one was quite cute. he called him mum in front and said i love you over the phone to his mum cos his mum couldnt make it and it was quite touching lah(:

well. study skills did wake me up the last day when ramesh really scolded us and i was quite upset lah. because i think we disappointed melvin alot and ramesh. i hope this study skills would be a wake up call for all of us.
